Radiant Heating Options
There are two gas-fired infrared radiant heating solutions that Radiant Heating Supplies Ltd offer, both burn gas to produce infrared emissions that heat the surfaces and objects that the emissions come into contact with rather than the air in the room, the warmed surfaces and objects then re-radiate the heat into the room. As a result of not using heated air to distribute the heat to the desired location but directly heating it, there can be significant savings on the gas bill, of around 30-50% dependant upon circumstances. Both radiant heating solutions are available in natural gas and LPG versions.

Re-verber-ray Infrared Radiant Tube Heaters
The first solution is Re-verber-ray infrared radiant tube heaters which are available as single stage infrared radiant tube heaters, the EDX range, and dual stage infrared radiant tube heaters, the EHL range. Dual stage heaters are up to 12% more efficient than a single stage heater. Both ranges have various options with regard to the size of the burner, the length of the infrared radiant tube as well as U-bend and 90° elbow options.
Re-verber-ray infrared radiant tube heaters can be flued, although it is not always necessary dependant upon the air change rates of the room, and can also be installed as a room-sealed appliance with the air for combustion being vented in from the outside, allowing the heaters to be used in environments where a naked flame would be unsuitable. Re-verber-ray infrared radiant tube heaters are also suitable for heating outdoor areas such as patios or golf driving ranges. More information can be found here.

SBM Infrared Radiant Plaque Heaters
The second solution is SBM infrared radiant plaque heaters which are also available in single and dual stage versions. Five ranges are currently available which are the B, RI, XD, XDI and XFR. Infrared radiant plaque heaters are smaller than infrared radiant tube heaters but have higher intensity and, therefore, are more suited to spot heating than heating large areas. However, the higher intensity does allow infrared radiant plaque heaters to be mounted at greater heights than infrared radiant tube heaters. More information can be found here.

Radiant Heating Supplies Ltd can design, supply, arrange installation of, and maintain an infrared radiant heating system to suit any industrial or commercial application, providing there is sufficient mounting height as both infrared radiant tube and infrared radiant plaque heaters get very hot in order to produce the infrared radiation.
